Overview
IPTV Canada ("we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA") and applicable Canadian copyright legislation, we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated contact below.
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied or made available through our service in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please follow the procedure outlined in this policy to submit a takedown notice.
Technology Provider Disclaimer
IPTV Canada operates as a technology platform that delivers streaming content to subscribers. We act as an intermediary service provider and do not host, produce, or control the underlying media content delivered through third-party sources. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the content accessible through our platform complies with applicable copyright laws. However, IPTV Canada does not assume liability for content that may be made available by third-party providers.
If you are a copyright holder and believe that content accessible through iptvscanada.com infringes your rights, we encourage you to notify us immediately so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
To file a valid DMCA takedown notice, you must provide a written communication that includes the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notification, you may provide a representative list.
- Identification of the infringing material: A description of the material you claim is infringing and its location on our platform, with enough detail for us to locate the material (e.g., specific URLs or channel names).
- Your contact information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Statement of good faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Statement of accuracy: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
Please note that incomplete or invalid notices may not be processed. Any misrepresentation in a DMCA takedown notice may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorney fees.
How to Submit
DMCA takedown notices should be sent to our designated agent by email:
Email: help@catchontv1.email
Please include "DMCA Takedown Notice" in the subject line to ensure your request is handled promptly. We aim to acknowledge receipt of all valid takedown notices within two (2) business days.
Response Process
Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, IPTV Canada will take the following steps:
- Acknowledge receipt of the notice and review it for completeness and validity.
- Investigate the claim and, if appropriate, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material in a timely manner.
- Notify the user or content provider whose material has been removed, providing them with a copy of the takedown notice and information about filing a counter-notification.
- Document the notice and all actions taken for our records.
Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your full legal name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, the jurisdiction of the courts of Canada) and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notifications should be sent to help@catchontv1.email with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notification."
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, IPTV Canada will forward it to the original complainant. If the original complainant does not file a court action within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days, we may restore the removed material at our discretion.
Repeat Infringers
IPTV Canada maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers. If a user receives multiple valid DMCA takedown notices, we reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate their account and access to our services without prior notice or refund. We track all takedown notices and counter-notifications to enforce this policy consistently.
